It is unlikely the previous owner's feed-in tariff contract would be transferred to a property buyer.
If you demolish and build a new home at an address with an existing approved permission to connect, and if you reconnect your system at the same point and also do not exceed your original peak capacity ... you may receive the same feed-in tariff.
If you are changing or replacing your meter, or if you want to increase your capacity it is likely to affect your feed-in tariff.
You cannot move the solar feed-in tariff you receive from your old to your new address. It is likely you would receive the tariff being offered at the time of moving.
You should first check that your new provider knows that you are a solar feed-in tariff customer and is willing to accept you as a customer.
Check with your electricity service provider for what they will do for you. Review the battery install costs and the likely return on investment period.
Bottom line ... always check with your electricity service provider for current arrangements and a deal that best suits you.
